Can you see what is happening while surgery is being done on your eye?
Not really. You
will see a very bright while light and then a colorful light show. You may see
movement and figures in the periphery of your vision but not really to a degree
that could fairly be called "seeing." Remember, though, that the eye is well
anesthetized, so you will not be reacting to light and movement the way you
might think you would.
